Broken Record

Reasons I'm having such a hard time reading the Good Book:

1. It is hard to read. I suspect this is why most people don't read it, including those who claim it's the most important book ever. The wording is thick and clunky. It's hard to follow. It's hard to force myself to plod through.
2. It is absurd... Plagues. Talking donkeys. Animal sacrifice. On and on. It just isn't relevant to daily life. Sorry, God.
3. It sucks.
